Abundance London is a voluntary organisation with charitable aims, founded in 2010, that aims to create greenery, biodiversity and beauty in the public realm. We promote urban greening, guerrilla gardening, tree planting, fruit glut harvesting, by working with local schools, volunteers, businesses, community groups and local government to.
We harvest surplus fruit, guerrilla garden pockets of neglected land, plant orchards, hedgerows and trees, we try and reconnect people with nature and protect it in an urban setting. We create beautiful spaces, mainly through planting but also through art.

Who we are
Dr Karen Liebreich, MBE
Karen set up the Chiswick House Kitchen Garden; she is a historian and author. She received her MBE in 2013 for services to horticulture and education. She is also a founding director of the Chiswick Flower Market. Over the years she has served on the boards of various local environmental groups including Cultivate London, Hammersmith Community Gardens Association and Dukes Meadows Trust.
Karen Wyatt
Karen is a chartered accountant and trustee of several local charities, including Hammersmith Community Garden Association.
Jutta Wagner
Jutta is a trained gardener and garden designer and worked with Karen at the Chiswick House Kitchen garden. Although living in Germany now, she is always happy to work with the Abundance crew, to design special gardens for them – and for reasons to visit Chiswick.

Laurence runs the picking sessions and the historic fruit database.
Jen Thorndycraft
Jen joined Abundance as a volunteer. In 2025 she stepped up to head up Abundance’s Community Projects, a new role funded by the JJM Fund, via the Talent Fund.
