We managed to get the big apple press juicing at a rainy harvest festival in Hammersmith and produced about 100 bottles of our delicious apple juice. But it was a funny old year. Maybe the warm winter, maybe the sodden spring, maybe the lovely sunny summer – such apples as we were offered came around 7 weeks earlier than usual, and most of our most reliable trees gave nothing. Ah well, onwards and upwards to next year.
