Fruit free for all

About 75 people (not all at once, but on a rolling shift of about 30 at all times!) turned up for our chopping and boiling bonanza last Saturday. In conjunction with the fabulous Lucy of Ginger Whisk we made various chutneys (fig & apple, cranberry & apple, classic), membrillos, jellies (apple & sage, apple & mint) and cordials (pear & anise). All workers got to take loads home, and the rest will be on sale at the Chiswick Book Festival cake shop and at Bouncing off the Wall.
