The Chiswick Timeline: A History in Art and Maps

Abundance London has been very busy over the last months putting together a huge mural for the railway bridges outside Turnham Green tube station. We invite you check out the dedicated Chiswick Timeline website.

Maybe you’re wondering why Abundance has extended its brief from the usual green stuff we do – like the sustainable flower beds (currently bursting with daffodils) down the High Road, the flagpole garden at the Town Hall, apple days with local schools, the veg bed at the library etc? Well, we did initially have a green wall element in our proposals, but it got weeded out by TfL and local councillors as being, respectively, hard to maintain, and possibly harbouring insects.

Anyhow, we decided that the area was in a dire state, and that we liked art too, so we are doing the mural…. Go and support us at the main mural website!
