The Edible High Road 2012

Abundance London organized the Edible High Road in Chiswick 19 May – 10 June 2012 to celebrate the first Chelsea Fringe, to coincide with the Chelsea Flower Show. Over 50 of Chiswick’s shops joined together with us at Abundance London to create a river of fruit trees. See the full list below.

After the Fringe the trees were distributed in the area, with six of the local schools taking several trees each for permanent planting, and many going up to the orchard at Dukes Meadows. In an unforeseen development, many of the businesses fell in love with their trees and decided to keep them and plant them permanently themselves. More info at Chelsea Fringe.

The amazing Treasure Trail took several hours to complete, requiring quite some commitment from participants! So we were delighted to receive nearly fifty entries, each of which will receive a prize, supplied by the excellent garden centre, Neals Nursery in Wandsworth,
