Last drop-in art session

The big art project – Butterflies & Flowers

Last drop-in art session, Sunday 26th September, 2-4pm, Harvard Hill Park
Hosted by the Friends of Harvard Hill. Come along – adults and children – and help us get the last few models done. Make sure your artwork is represented in this big installation.

Our big art project is nearly ready to launch. Lots of you have been painting bright butterflies and flowers for this project. We have had an amazing response. Nearly ALL the schools in the area – Chiswick, Arts Ed, Ravenscourt, Belmont, St Mary’s, William Hogarth, Grove Park, Southfield, Strand-on-the-Green, Chiswick & Bedford, Latymer, Cavendish… Lots of community groups – Age Concern, the Brownies, Hammersmith Community Gardens, Speak out in Hounslow, West London Welcome have all been working away creating this art installation. Tanya Saunders, Make + Paint, Liz Butler have helped run the sessions. Planet Organic, Postroom Cafe, Horton & Garton have all welcomed public drop-in sessions. Thank you everyone!

Mystery Artwork launch

12 noon at the Flower Market on Sunday 3rd October.

Here’s an important clue. We will be launching it at 12 noon at the Flower Market on Sunday 3rd October. Come along and all will be revealed.

London Skyline Panorama

London Stilled in the Evening.

Meanwhile Abundance is delighted to reveal a huge gorgeous 360 Panorama by Will Pearson, London Stilled in the Evening, which has just been installed on the wall of the Chiswick Police Station. We are very grateful to Will for letting us use his fabulous image, and to the Metropolitan Police for their generous co-operation.

The project has received funding from the European Regional Development Fund, with support from HM Government and the London Borough of Hounslow.
